On my mind...

I've decided that we now have to accept that I am old. I know this because my friend John, who I have known for 15 years, which is more than my entire adult life, announced yesterday that he and his wife are expecting TWINS. We are now officially adults. Because the dorky kids we were shouldn't ever be allowed to raise children, much less two of them. As weird as it is that John is going to be a parent when, in my mind, is still 16 or 17, I'm incredibly happy for them. Congrats to John and Jennifer!!!!!!!

Top 5 ways to avoid cleaning my office
1. Stare at my IM wondering if anyone will want to talk to me
2. Plot the death of the mean student who yelled at a student worker yesterday
3. Randomly google search for people I haven't seen for 5 or more years to see what comes up
4. Re-figure my monthly mortgage payment with all the different variables possible from our refinance
5. Sing cheesy Counting Crows songs as loudly as possible without anyone outside of my office hearing
