On a side note....
On a side note from anything important (not that that's here all that often, but...)
I hate hate hate hate hate being called Mrs. BC. I especially hate it when the person saying it is attempting to be formal (like our lawyer for our house purchase) and chooses NOT to use my legal name which is Ms. A-C. I also hate the excuse of how it is "easier" to do this. When my name was 11 letters long (as it was before the marriage and the hyphen) no one felt like they were allowed to just chop off a few letters to make it "easier" for themselves.
It almost makes me wish I had just kept my original name alone without the hyphen because then people wouldn't have the excuse of changing my name to fit their wishes. I have now decided that, for everyone who calls me just by the end of my name that I am only going to call them by the last 4 letters of theirs. See how they like it.
