Wow, talk about guilt
A colleague of mine just said (in response to me cancelling a meeting): "I'm glad you cancelled that meeting. I thought you might be calling it to say you were leaving or something. I'd have to quit if that happened." Obviously, this person does not yet know my upcoming plans. But I feel pretty darn bad for not telling them yet, even though I don't have a guarantee of what's going on yet.
