Major structural damage that can't be repaired.  New roof needed.  Bad design in the first place, making the whole place a fire hazard and likely to leak badly with snow and/or rain. So, we are back to the drawing board. We will know for sure by the end of the week.  I have very mixed feelings -- I know that this will be good for BC and that, long term, I will be fine. BC got another interview for next week (that's FOUR in one week) for yet another NJ school.  We've (read: I) vetoed Alabama, so we're down to 1 NY school (for which we would probably live in NJ) and 3 NJ schools.  Wasn't there a very good reason I left NJ almost 13 years ago????
